Cross-trail:
You run in more difficult terrain up-hill and down-hill, however, you stay on paths and trails.

Trail running in your holiday in “Sand in Taufers”

Trail running is one type of long-distance running off the roads, thus it is taking place in mountainous terrain. Typical routes for trail runs are gravel paths, forest track, paths in parks, stone paths, and exercising paths in alpine terrain. During the trail run you come across natural obstacles and different subsoil. These will not only improve your physical endurance but also your skills to coordinate and increase your power of concentration. Your whole body will be stabilized by the trail run and your body will use more muscles than usually during the trail run.

The terrain around the Nature Idyll Hochgall is an ideal place for your trail run training. Your host Günther Fischer is an official trail running guide and invites alpine runners to altitude training in Rein in Taufers.
