Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Yoga is an ancient Indian philosophy and wisdom. Its goal, besides physical health, is the condition of spirit and soul.
Yoga means “to unify – to join”. A connection between soul, spirit and body is created. With the help of breathing techniques, meditation, concentration and body exercises, the consciousness is extended and a feeling of balance is developed.
Yoga is not a sport, but it is more of an attitude towards life. With regular practice it supports you in all areas of life.
It is a way of acceptance and of release, of learning to feel and get to know yourself better.
Do yourself some good and allow yourself more time to reflect on yourself.
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation ritual of the Yoga tradition.
Through complete relaxation at clear consciousness, it helps penetrate lower layers of consciousness.
It is like sleeping during full awareness with physical, spiritual and mental proceedings coming to rest. It fills the body with vigour and lightness and reduces not only general suffering such as stress and nervousness, but also revives your hidden forces .
In order to practice Yoga Nidra, you only need a quiet and pleasant place, a mat and a blanket. Prepare the room so that you feel comfortable and safe. You may light a candle or switch on soft, relaxing music.
Yoga Nidra can be practiced as long as you wish, from 15 minutes up to one hour and more.
